Glen of Rothes has 6 acres of water, set in magnificent Highland scenery in the Northeast of Scotland, providing excellent Stillwater bank fishing for Rainbow trout, as well as for Browns, Blue rainbows and Brook trout. The lochs are mainly fly only, but there is a dedicated coarse loch with superb quality carp, bream, orfe and tench and is the only coarse loch in the area. There is also a separate bait loch suitable for families with rainbow trout. Whether you are an expert or just looking to try something new during your holiday, book now hand enjoy a great day out. The lochs are stocked on a regular basis, and daily during the summer, to ensure a steady head of fish that will give a challenging but highly rewarding day’s fishing.

NEW! Millbuies Trout Fishery is one of Scotland’s hidden gems in trout fly fisheries. Set in secluded and peaceful woodlands, it is 13 acres of superb trout fishing. Consisting of 2 lochs interconnected with depths to 10 feet and deeper to 20 feet in certain areas. It is made up of all boat, with NO Bank fishing allowed. There are 6 boats available each day, all year round and consists of 2 daily sessions.Two Float tubes are allowed per day in the top loch only.

All boats have to be booked and keys can be picked up at the Glen of Rothes trout fishery, who are the proprietors of the lochs, which is open 7 days a week, or can be arranged to be picked up at Millbuies by arrangement.
