The Lanrick water is situated between Doune and Callander on the river Teith and extends for 3.5 miles of which 2 miles are single bank and 1.5miles are double bank fishing. There are 16 named pools amid a magnificent woodland and parkland setting. The river enjoys a traditional spring run from the opening day followed by an exciting sea trout run between March and July accompanied by a less predictable grilse run. An excellent autumn run continues from late August until the end of the season in October. The Teith has a well deserved reputation for some large fish and every year fish over 20lbs and even some over 30lbs are landed.
